Mid-season flowering. Central stamen tube. Leaves, medium size, narrowly elliptic, apex acuminate, base acute, deep green with clear venation. Growth, erect, not vigorous. Originated in Kawaguchi-shi, Saitama Prefecture, Kantō District, in Japan. For botanical drawings, colour photo and description, see p.72, 73, 74, Kyōto Engei Kurabu, Tsubaki Tokushū, No.11, 1982.
