Gerbings Azalea Gardens Catalogue, 1941-1942: New Camellia from Middleton Gardens, (Middleton No.4). An exquisite, deep pink flower of formal double type, 10 cm across. When fully opened there are some stamens intermingled with petaloids in the centre. Free in its blooming habit and vigorous in its growth. Foliage, medium green. Mid-sea­son flowering.
