Carol's Tama (C. japonica)   Registered in 2020. ACS Registration #3184. This 10 year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2014. It was originated, registered and propagated by Richard Hooton of Pensacola, Florida, USA. Bloom The small sized 7.3cm x 5.1cm [treated 8.3cm x 5.1cm] rose form double flower is cherry red with white border with yellow anthers. This cultivar is a profuse bloomer, falls in one piece, is long lasting, has heavy petal texture and has consistent form. Plant The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition. Leaf The medium green leaves average 7.6cm x 3.8cm with low serration. Bloom season Early to late.
