Encyclopedia of Camellias in Colour, 1972, vol.I, p.364 and vol.II, 1978, pl.382, description, p.253: Medium size, soft, pale pink semi-double, cupped, 14-16 petals, surrounding a short central, cylindrical bunch of stamens with yellow anthers. Flowers mid-season. Leaves, small, dark green, long-elliptic, acuminate, shallowly serrate. See Yokoyama & Kirino, 1989, Nihon no Chinka, p.301 and 1984 Chabana Koyomi Vol.1, Tsubaki p.52 as ‘Kazukiyama’. Synonym: ‘Kazuki-yama’. Originated by Mrs Kurihara, Nerimaku, Tokyo, Japan.
