Encyclopedia of Camellias in Colour, vol.I, 1972, p.220, pl.570: Medium size, formal double white with soft pink on petal reverse, size, 6-9 cm across with 25­-30 petals. Filaments, pale yellow-white. Early to mid-season flowering. Leaves elliptic to long­-elliptic, mid-green. Resembles Fuji-no-yuki in form. Originated in the Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.
