SCCS., 1954, The Camellia. Its Culture and Nomenclature, p.38 invalidly and erroneously as ‘Dahliaeflora’: Raspberry red with darker veining. Medium semidouble, peony to anemone forms with centre petals, pointed and swirled as in a dahlia. Vigorous, compact growth. Mid-season blooming. Originated by T.H. Seavey, Alhambra, California, USA.
