Dr. Percy Jenkins. (C. japonica). Australia Regn. No. 569.  Applicant and originator: Mary Elizabeth Jenkins, 6 Florence Avenue, Ringwood, Victoria, 3134. A chance seedling from C. japonica 'Dr Tinsley'. The semi-double flower of 10 petals is pale pink at the petal base shading to deeper pink at the outer edges. RHS 49D to 69A, 110mm x 40 mm. Flowers mid-season to late on a bushy, upright-growing plant. Leaves are dark green, glossy, curled, lanceolate, with slightly serrate margins. Stamens form a tube. Flowers are shed whole. Application received from Camellias Victoria Inc on 9 November 2005.
