American Camellia Yearbook, 1978, p.129, Reg. No.1468: A medium size, phlox pink. peony form C. hybrid; a cross of C.saluenensis (English Form) x Princess Lavender. Blooms mid-season to late; originated by Dr Clifford Parks, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA. The 14 year old seedling first bloomed late 1960’s. Colour RHS.CC.625/1-625/2. It has 11 petals, 7 inconspicuous petaloids, yellow anthers and cream filaments. Average size 8 cm wide x 4 cm deep. Late mid-season flowering. Vigorous plant; cold resistant.
