SCCS., 1951, The Camellia. Its Culture and Nomenclature: Light, rose­pink, striped and splashed darker rose-pink. Medium size, incomplete double to peony form, 9-10 cm across x 5 cm deep with 18 petals and intermixed with yellow stamens. Vigorous, open, upright growth with glossy, dark green, lanceolate leaves. Originated by W.S. Duncan, Pen­sacola, Florida, USA as a chance seedling. Reg. No.49 with ACS, 1950. Sport: Margaret Noonan Variegated.
