American Camellia Yearbook, 1981, p.102, Reg. No.1745: A large, blush pink to white, peony form to heavy semi-double, C.japonica chance seedling, mid-season blooming. Originated by Hugh Shackelford, Albany, Georgia, USA. The 8 year old seedling first bloomed 1977. Flower size is 12.5 cm across. Growth is upright and rapid.
