ACS Registration #2998. The Camellia Journal,71(3):28 with name and color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2016, p. 131 with color photo and description. This 14-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2008. It was originated, registered and propagated by Vernon Howell of Lucedale, Mississippi, USA. Bloom: The small sized 7cm x 3.8cm formal double form flower is pink. This profuse bloomer has consistent form with heavy petal texture, is long lasting and falls in one piece. The blooms are always symmetrical giving it a circular appearance. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping use. Leaf: The medium green leaves have medium serration and average 6.3cm x 2.5cm. Bloom season: Early to late.
