Originated, registered and propagated by James & Elaine Smelley, Moss Point, Miss., USA. A 15 year old seedling, parentage unknown, first flowered 2000. Small size, 6.5cm diameter x 6.5cm deep, flower is full peony form, dark red. Yellow anthers and white filaments. Flowers fall whole. Plant is upright, with average growth rate. Dark green leaves average 7.5cm x 3.2cm with medium serration. Flowers early to midseason.
