This 10-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2011. It was originated by C.M. and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida, USA, registered by the Tifton Council of Garden Clubs Inc. of Tifton, Georgia, USA and propagated by Mark Craw-ford of Valdosta, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The large sized 10.8cm x 6.3cm (treated 11.4cm x 7cm) semi-double form flower is deep rose red. It has gold anthers and cream filaments. The long lasting bloom falls in one piece and has consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 8.9cm x 4.1cm with medium serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
