Splash (C.japonica). published in American Camellia Yearbook 2021, p. 108. Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3260. It was originated andregistered by Howard Rhodes from Tallahassee, Florida, USA. A 9 year old chanceseedling. It was first bloomed in 2015. Flower red splashes on white withpink undertones with yellow anthers and white filaments; Semidouble; the bloomhas speckled red dots as if it was sprayed; Large to very large, diameter 14.0cm, depth 5.7 cm. Leaf Medium Green, 8.3 cm long, and 3.8 cm wide. Plantspreading, open growth, average growth rate. Blooming season early.
