This 11-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2008. It was originated, registered and propagated by Vernon Howell of Lucedale, Mississippi, USA. Bloom: The medium sized 8.9cm x 3.8cm formal double form flower is pink with red stripes and flecks. This profuse bloomer has consistent form with heavy petal texture, is long lasting and falls in one piece. The center bud is large and remains closed. Plant: The plant habit is upright and dense. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping use. Leaf: The dark green leaves have medium serration and average 7.6cm x 3.8cm. Bloom season: Late.
