ACS, The Camellia Journal, Mar. 2008, p.C11 with colour photo, Regn No.2711. A solid pink sport of Ben George, first observed in 2000 by E. Hulyn Smith, Valdosta, Ga., USA, and propagated by Erinon Camellias, Plymouth, Fla. The 15 cm plus diameter x 5-7.5 cm deep, single to semi-double flower has darker stripes. Prominent spray of stamens, with yellow anthers on cream filaments. Flowers mid-season. Upright, vigorous plant. American Camellia Yearbook, 2008, p.128 with colour photo; 37 petals and 2-3 petaloids.Dark green leaves 9-10 cm x 3.8 cm.
