The single, scarlet red bloom has gold stamens and pink filaments, and heavy petal texture. American Camellia Yearbook, 2004, p.95, colour photo p.c4. Flowers mid-season. Plant is upright and vigorous. Dark green leaves are 13.5 cm long x 3.8 cm wide.
