Mid-season flowering. Leaves, narrow-elliptic, small, thin texture, fine serrations. Plant habit, strong and erect. Nippon Tsubaki - Sasanqua Meikan, 1998, p.13 with colour photo; English translation p.7. Selected from wild japonicas, named by Tadaichiro Ogawa, released by T. Ogawa and Yoshiyuki Nakajima.
