Kasuya, Kamegorō, 1859, Tsubaki Irohanayose Irotsuki; Red with moires of white, semi-double with 3 rows of petals, cylindrical stamen cluster. Originated in Japan. Note: Kasuya lists two ‘Akitsushima’. The kanji characters are different but they may be the same cultivar.(Believed extinct.)
