American Camellia Yearbook, 1968, p.128, Reg. No.973A: A 15 year old chance seedling of Imura; first bloomed 1956; originated by Alberta S. Long, Mt Pleasant, South Carolina, USA. The plant growth is spreading, dense and rapid in rate. The dark green leaves average 10 cm long x 3.8 cm wide. The semi-double flowers, similar to Frizzle White, are 11-12.5 cm across and have 15 petals and 1 or 2 petaloids. The colour is white with flecks of rose and yellow anthers. Heavy satiny texture, profuse blooming, mid-season to late.
