Amanda Mandarich (C. reticulata) ACS, Reg. No.2429. American Camellia Yearbook, 1997,p1. with color photo in color inset 1. A large, Roseine Purple, semi doubleC. reticulata ('Carl Tourje' x 'Lillete Witman'), mid-season. Originatedand propagated by Jack L. Mandarich, Grants Pass, OR The 13-year-old seedlingfirst bloomed in 1990. Average size flower is 5" wide and 2" deepwith 12 petals and golden anthers. Blooms have a silver fluorescence on allpetals. Plant growth is upright, open and average with leaves measuring 31/2" long and 2112" wide.
