ACS, Aug., 1995, The Camellia Journal, vol.50, No.3, p.37, Reg. No.2346: Medium size white formal double C.japonica Charlie Bettes x Gus Menard seedling. Blooms mid-season to late. Originated in the USA by W.F. Homeyer Jr, Macon Georgia. ACS, 1995, American Camellia Yearbook, p.1 and color photo: The 17 year old seedling first bloomed 1984. Average size bloom is 8 cm across x 3.2 cm deep. Inner half petals are cupped inwards. Late in season they form a 5-6 pointed star. Plant growth is upright and spreading.
