American Camellia Yearbook, 1962-63, p.213, Reg. No.601: An 11 year old seedling of Rosary x Leucantha, (‘Tricolor White’), that first bloomed 1954. Originated by H.E. Quarles, Mobile, Alabama, USA. Plant growth is upright and open, medium in rate with dark green leaves. The semi-double flowers, similar to Frizzle White, are 12.5-13 cm across and 6 cm deep and have 24-30 petals and 6 very frilly petaloids. The blooms are white with white stamens and open early to mid-season.
