Anna Maria Micheli Lorenzetti

Anna Maria Micheli Lorenzetti (C. x hybrid). International Camellia Journal, 2025,p.62. Originated from an interspecific hybridization in 1995 between ‘Cho-no-hagasane’ (C. japonica) and ‘Dr. Louis Polizzi’ (C. saluenensis x C. reticulata) first flowered in 2000.  Dedicated to Anna Maria Micheli Lorenzetti (1937-2012), curator and creator of the “Giardino Incantato” in Massa in memory of his great admiration for the historic camellias of the Compitese collection.  Constituted by Dr. Guido Cattolica who is running the camellia collection of Villa Borrini in Sant’ Andrea di Compito and is the representative in Tuscany for the Italian Camellia Society.  Flower: irregular double; medium size; diameter 8.0-5.0 cm; 35 petals with linear margin, few petaloids; color light pink with dark pink red variegation. Leaf: 9.5 cm long and 5.0 cm wide; elliptic; apex pointed, margin serrated; color intense and dark green. Plant: upright growth with scattered order. Other data: The plant is 3 meter tall (2025) and is inside the Camellia collection of Botra in Pieve di Compito near Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.  The form is changeable, sometimes from semi-double to anemone form and sometimes simple with few petaloids among the stamens.

安娜洛伦泽蒂（Camellia ‘Anna Maria Micheli Lorenzetti’）。《国际山茶会志》2025年第62页。源自1995年通过种间杂交获得，母本为‘Cho-no-hagasane’（红山茶），父本为‘Dr. Louis Polizzi’（怒江山茶×滇山茶），2000年首次开花。以Anna Maria Micheli Lorenzetti（1937-2012）的名字命名，她是马萨“魔法花园”的园长和创建者，以纪念她对Compitese山茶花收藏中历史名品的极大贡献。由Guido Cattolica博士正式命名，他负责管理圣安德烈亚-迪-孔皮托博里尼别墅（Villa Borrini）的山茶花收藏，并担任意大利山茶协会在托斯卡纳的代表。花：不规则重瓣型；中型；直径8.0-5.0厘米；花瓣35枚，边缘平直，具少量瓣化雄蕊；颜色浅粉红色，具深粉红至红色的斑纹。叶：长9.5厘米，宽5.0厘米；椭圆形；先端渐尖，边缘具锯齿；颜色浓绿色至深绿色。植株：直立生长，分枝疏朗有序。备注：该植株高3米（2025年数据），位于意大利托斯卡纳卢卡附近Pieve di Compito的Botra山茶花收藏区。花型多变，有时呈半重瓣至银莲花型，有时呈单瓣型，雄蕊间偶有少量瓣化雄蕊。
