This 18-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 1997. It was originated, registered and propagated by Marty and Diane Clark of Hampstead, North Carolina, USA. Bloom: The small to medium sized 7.6cm x 3.8cm(treated 10.1cm x 7.6cm) loose peony form flower is pink with light pink edges. It has yellow anthers and yellow filaments. This long lasting profuse bloomer has consistent form, heavy petal texture and falls in one piece. The filaments divide into a star shape. Plant: The plant habit is upright and spreading. The growth rate is aver-age. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The medium green leaves average 10.1cm x 5.7cm with low serration. Bloom season: Midseason to late.
