Blooms early to mid-season. A chance seedling raised by Ferol & Sam Zerkowsky, Tammia Nursery, Slidell, Louisiana, USA. ACS., Nov.1990, The Camellia Journal, vol.46, No.4, p.18, Reg. No.2196. American Camellia Yearbook, 1990, p.88: A 13 year old seedling that first bloomed in 1980. Average flower size, 12 cm across x 7 cm deep with 27 petals and 42 petaloids.
