Avvocato Sala

Avvocato Sala (C. japonica). International Camellia Journal, 2025 p.62. Originated from a seedling in Villa Il Nonaro in Varese, Italy. Dedicated to the Lawyer Giuseppe Sala (1930-2007) by his family.  Giuseppe Sala spent all his life enhancing the beauty of the Nonaro’s park, in constant synergy with his beloved bees.  Flower: shape formal double imbricated; medium size; diameter 8.2-9.0 cm; depth 3.0-3.5 cm; petals 58-66, shape round and elliptical towards the center of the flower with linear margin and convex shape the outers and concave the inners; no stamens or petaloids; color rose-pink RHS CC = 66C-64C; variegation with a central wide white (RHS CC = 62B) streak for almost all petals. Leaf: 7.2-7.6 cm long; 3.7-4.1 cm wide; leaf index (length / width) 1,90; shape elliptic; leaf apex acute, briefly serrated margin, color upper dark green RHS CC = 139A, background olive green RHS CC =138B. Plant: open growth; medium time flowering. Other data: First flowered around 2010.  The streaks variegation for almost all petals tends the cultivar to be similar to the ‘Oranda-ko’

萨拉律师（Camellia japonica ‘Avvocato Sala’）。《国际山茶会志》2025年第62页。源自意大利瓦雷泽Villa Il Nonaro的一株实生苗。由其家族献给律师朱塞佩·萨拉(Giuseppe Sala,1930-2007）。萨拉一生致力于提升诺纳罗(Nonaro)公园的景观，并与他心爱的蜜蜂始终保持着和谐的互动。花：花型完全重瓣覆瓦状；中型；直径8.2-9.0厘米；深3.0-3.5厘米；花瓣58-66枚，形状圆形，向花朵中心渐变为椭圆形，边缘平直，外层花瓣凸起，内层花瓣凹陷；无雄蕊或瓣化雄蕊；颜色玫瑰粉红色，RHS CC = 66C-64C；斑纹特征为几乎所有花瓣均具宽阔的中央白色条纹（RHS CC = 62B）。叶：长7.2-7.6厘米；宽3.7-4.1厘米；长/宽比1.90；形状椭圆形；先端急尖，边缘具细锯齿；上面深绿色，RHS CC = 139A，背景橄榄绿色，RHS CC =138B。植株：开展型生长；花期中等。备注：约于2010年首次开花。几乎所有花瓣均具条纹斑纹，使该品种趋向于类似‘Oranda-ko’
