p1. with color photo in color inset 1. A small, light peachy pink, formal
double, C. japonica chance seedling, mid-season. Originated by Elizabeth
R Scott, Aiken, sc. The 22-year-old seedling first bloomed in 1980. Average
size flower is 2 3/4" wide and 1" deep with 71 petals. Chemically treated,
it is the same size, just opens earlier and changes color to almost white,
sometimes with a yellow cast. Plant growth is upright and average with dark
green leaves measuring 3" long and 1 1/2" wide.
