Botanical and Biological Characteristics: [Tree] Tree, semi-spreading habit, height 15.0 m, canopy 14.2 m x 11.1 m, basal trunk diameter 1.0 m, lowest branch height 0.7 m, branch density medium. [New Shoots] Single bud with one leaf in mid-March, single bud with two leaves in late March, buds and leaves green and hairless, single bud with three leaves length 6.9 cm, 100 buds with three leaves weight 111.1 g. [Leaves] Leaves grow slightly upward; leaf length 13.7 cm, leaf width 6.3 cm, leaf area 60.4 cm², extra-large, elliptical; 9-10 pairs of veins, green color, glossy, flat surface, flat texture, leathery and relatively hard; leaf teeth sharp, dense, shallow, base wedge-shaped and purplish-red, apex gradually pointed, edge flat.
