Banlang Chunqiu

Banlang Chunqiu (C. japonica). Published in China Flowers & Horticulture, 2024, No.6, p.49. China Registration Number: CCRN2023032. Originated by Yu Rongjiang. A sport of ‘Middle Georgia’, first bloomed in 2016. Leaves dark green, elliptical, and glossy. Flowers dark red with scattered white spots, occasionally pure red to multicolored, large size; petals oblong, fully imbricated formal double, with clearly visible deep veins on the surface, and the flowers are dense. Plant upright with moderate growth. Blooming season February to April.
