American Camellia Yearbook, 1968, p.128, Reg. No.1011: A 7 year old seedling of John Illges, that first bloomed 1964; originated by Mrs Pauline Bedayn, California, USA. Plant growth dense, bushy, slow with dark green leaves, 10 cm x 6 cm leaves. The semidouble to anemone form flower is 11 cm across and 5 cm deep with 10 petals and 30-40 petaloids. the colour is salmon pink with white stamens. Blooms mid-season to late.
