[Variety Source] Selected and bred by Qingdao Institute of Vocational and Technical Sciences and others from a single plant of 'Keemen'. [Characteristics and traits] Shrub type, medium leaf type, mesophyll. The tree posture is semi-open, strong growth potential, low branching site, medium branching density. The leaf blade is upwardly inserted, moderately elliptic, with a length of 9.0 centimeters, a width of 3.5 centimeters, a dark green color, and a sharp apex. The leaf blade is thick, glossy and hard. In Qingdao area, the exploitation period is generally in the middle and end of April, and the full bloom period of one bud and two leaves is generally in the end of April; the germination density is medium, with a lot of velvet; the length of one bud and three leaves is 7.6 centimeters, and the weight of one bud and three leaves in one hundred buds is 76.9 grams. The bloom period is in the middle of November every year. The biochemical sample of spring tea bud two leaves contains 19.9% of tea polyphenols, 3.2% of amino acids, 3.2% of caffeine, 44.1% of water leachate. Suitable for green tea and black tea. Make baking green tea, appearance green show hair, soup color yellow-green bright, clear aroma, taste fresh mellow, leaf bottom tender green bright; make work black tea, appearance wu run, tender hair, soup color orange-red bright, sweet aroma, taste fresh sweet mellow and crisp, leaf bottom red bright. 北茶寒春 (Camellia sinensis ‘Beicha Hanchun’). 陈亮等. 2024.《中国茶树品种资源志（上卷）茶树登记品种》第360-361页：【申请者】青岛职业技术学院，南京农业大学园艺学院。【育种者】张续周；房婉萍；李玉胜；张晶晶；张新富；周艳华；胡建辉；辛颖秀；纪丹凤；于海军；刘爱玲；张新现。【品种编号】非主要农作物品种登记号：GPD茶树（2024)370040。【品种来源】青岛职业技术学院等从‘祁门种’中单株选育而成。【特征特性】灌木型，中叶类，中生种。树姿半开张，生长势强，分枝部位低，分枝密度中等。叶片向上着生，中等椭圆形，叶片长9.0厘米、宽3.5厘米，叶色深绿，先端尖锐。叶片厚、富光泽、叶质硬。在青岛地区开采期一般为4月中下旬，一芽二叶盛期一般在4月下旬；发芽密度中等，茸毛多；一芽三叶长7.6厘米，一芽三叶百芽重76.9克。盛花期为每年11月中旬。春茶一芽二叶生化样含茶多酚19.9%，氨基酸3.2%，咖啡碱3.2%，水浸出物44.1%。适制绿茶和红茶。制烘青绿茶，外形绿显毫，汤色黄绿明亮，清香，滋味鲜醇，叶底嫩绿明亮；制工夫红茶，外形乌润、细嫩多毫，汤色橙红明亮，香气甜香，滋味鲜甜醇爽，叶底红亮。第一生长周期亩产一芽二叶鲜叶209千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’减产10%；第二生长周期亩产330千克，比对照‘福鼎大白茶’减产8%。该品种抗茶炭疽病，抗茶小绿叶蝉；抗旱性和抗寒性强。【适宜种植区域及栽培技术要点】适宜在江北茶区山东青岛春、秋季种植。选择土层深厚、土壤透气性好的土壤；单行双株栽培，加强茶园肥水管理，适时进行3次定剪；要分批留叶采摘，采养结合。在山东及以北茶区需配套大棚设施栽培。
