Mizuno 1829, Sōmoku Kinyōshū, vol.5 in the section on dotted leaves. Bekkōmatsu is the name of the origina­tor. Very small, round leaves with fine dots. See Kyōto Engei Kurabu, 1966, Tsubaki Tokushū, No.7, p.166. Originated in Japan. (Believed extinct.)
