Belle Of The Ball (C. japonica) ACS, Reg. No 1582. American Camellia Yearbook, 1980 , p160. A large, rosy salmon semidouble, C. japonica seedling of 'Casilda', mid-season, originated and propagated by McCaskill Gardens, Pasadena, CA. Introduction date: 1965. The seedling first bloomed in 1960. Flower is 4½-5'' wide and 2½'' deep. Plant growth is vigorous.
