ACS Registration #2944. The Camellia Journal,70(2):30 with color photo. American Camellia Yearbook, 2015, p. 136 with color photo and description. This 12-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2007. It was originated and propagated by C.M. and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida, USA and registered by the Tifton Council of Garden Clubs Inc. of Tifton, Georgia, USA. Bloom: The medium sized 8.9cm x 5.1cm (treated 9.5cm x 5.7cm) semi-double form flower is bright pink. It has gold anthers and cream filaments. This long lasting, profuse bloomer falls in one piece and has consistent form. Plant: The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves average 9.5cm x 4.5cm with medium serration.Bloom season: Midseason to late.
