» English Description
American Camellia Yearbook, 1961, p.219, Reg. No.576: A 13 year old seedling of Imura (Miyakodori) that first bloomed 1955; originated by K. Sawada, Alabama, USA. Plant growth, upright, broad and dense. The leaves, 8.5 cm long by 4 cm wide are medium textured and serrate. The formal, complete double flower is imbricated, 10-11 cm across and 5 cm deep, self-white with 80-90 petals, obovate, smooth, mostly with incurved edges. Early to mid-season flowering.
