Bubble Gum (C.
sasanqua) ACS Registration #3125. Registered in 2019. This 10-year-old C. sasanqua seedling first bloomed in
2015. It was originated by Clarence and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida and
registered by Patrick Andrews and Bob Weidman of Citra, Florida and propagated
by Woodside Camellias of Citra, Florida.
BLOOM: The medium sized 8.89cm - 10.2
cm x 5.7 cm semi-double form flower is deep pink. It has yellow anthers and
white filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with consistent form and
falls in one piece. PLANT: The plant habit
is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping
and exhibition uses. LEAF: The medium green
leaves average 7.6 cm x 3.2 cm with low serration. BLOOM
SEASON: Midseason.
