Bubble Gum (C.sasanqua) ACS Registration #3125. Registered in 2019. This 10-year-old C. sasanqua seedling first bloomed in2015. It was originated by Clarence and Lillian Gordy of Ocala, Florida andregistered by Patrick Andrews and Bob Weidman of Citra, Florida and propagatedby Woodside Camellias of Citra, Florida. BLOOM: The medium sized 8.89cm - 10.2cm x 5.7 cm semi-double form flower is deep pink. It has yellow anthers andwhite filaments. This profuse bloomer is long lasting with consistent form andfalls in one piece. PLANT: The plant habitis upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscapingand exhibition uses. LEAF: The medium greenleaves average 7.6 cm x 3.2 cm with low serration. BLOOMSEASON: Midseason.
