Cardinal Stuart. (C. williamsii). C. Aust, Camellia News, No.182, Autumn 2010, p.8 , Regn No.614-N; A chance seedling of Jamie. Semi-double, with 2 more rows of petals than parent, and petals opened more widely. Bright scarlet colour. Slow, bushy growth, with glossy dark green leaves. Flowers mid-season to late. Named for the younger brother of Bonnie Prince Charlie. Originated by Terence E. Pierson, Jaspers Brush, NSW, Australia.
