American Camellia Yearbook, 1969, p.159, Reg. No.1026: A 9 year old chance seedling that first flowered 1963; originated by Mrs S.J. Raborn, Alabama, USA. Plant growth is of average density, rapid in rate with dark green leaves, 11 cm x 6 cm. The semidouble flower is 11.5 cm across and 6 cm deep and has 14 petals. Deep pink with yellow anthers and filaments. The stamens form a circle with the pistil extending above them. Blooms midseason.
