» English Description
ICS Journal, 2004, p.74 with colour photo, European Reg. No 47: Originated in Carquefou, France by M. Alfred Lemaître. An open pollinated seedling of the Higo camellia Yamato-nishiki. First flowered 2000 at 4 years. A prostrate, bushy shrub of rapid growth rate. Young foliage may show brown stripes or spots. Blooms mid-season. A white and red (RHS.CC.46D) single, somewhat Higo-type, with about 150 stamens. Flower is similar to, but distinct from Higo Daikanhô. First flowered March 4th, the feast day of St. Casimir.

首次发表于《国际山茶杂志》2004年第74页,注册号47。由法国卡尔克富的Aldred Le Maître培育。是肥后山茶类的大和锦‘Yamato-nishiki’的自然授粉实生苗中选育。 4年前的2000年首次开花。灌木,生长快速。 幼叶可能显示棕色条纹或斑点。开花期中期。 花单瓣,白色带i红色条纹(RHS.CC.46D),有点像肥后(Higo)型,有大约150个雄蕊。 花与肥后型的Daikanhô相似,但又有区别。 第一朵花花开时间是3月4日,即圣卡西米尔节,也因此而得名。
