American Camellia Yearbook, 1962-1963, p.215, Reg. No.621: A 10 year old sasanqua seedling that first bloomed 1965; originated by Charles J. Hayes, Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA. Growth habit, upright and dense, medium in rate with dark green leaves. The rose form double flower is lavender pink, 6-6.5 cm across and 2.5 cm deep with 20-25 petals and yellow stamens. Blooms early to mid-season.
