Seibundō Shinkōsha, 1979, Senchinshū, p.230: White, in the initial period of opening it is minutely marked with pink, an open peony form with scattered fascicles of stamens intermixed with the central petals. Large size. Early blooming. Leaves, long-ovate, medium size, acuminate apex, slightly keeled at midrib, otherwise flat, petioles hirsute. Has some resemblance to Shiro-daikagura even in flowering periods. Originated in the Chūbu District, Japan.
