Charlene Whiddon (C. japonica). Registered in 2021. ACS Registration #3268. It wasoriginated and registered by Pat B. Johnson from Cairo, Georgia, USA. A 12 yearold chance seedling. It was first bloomed in 2014. Flower semidouble toloose peony form, very large 14.0 cm in diameter and 7.6 cm in depth, mediumlight pink with yellow anthers and white filaments. Leaf dark green, 8.3cm long, and 4.4 cm wide. Plant upright, dense growth, average growthrate. Bloom early to mid-season.
