CSC. 1989, Report on the Camellias of China: Rose form, silvery pink. Petals slightly spoon shaped. 9-11cm across, 20-28 in 4-5 whorls. Stamens few, adnate basally to petals, singly or several, mingled with petals. Pistil degenerate, style thin and twisted. Flowers mid-season to late. Originated in China.
