American Camellia Yearbook, 1982, p.171, Reg. No.1778: A very large, pink, semi-double C.reticulata hybrid; (C.sasanqua Narumigata x C.reticulata Damanao), flowering late autumn; originated by Dr Clifford Parks, North Carolina, USA. The 16 year old seedling first flowered 1968. Average flower size is 10 cm wide by 4 cm deep with about 12 petals and 1-2 petaloids, yellow anthers and cream filaments. Plant growth is open, upright and medium in rate with dark green leaves.
