Latest Illustrated Book of Japanese Camellias (Camellias of Japan) 2010, p.226 with colour photo; Red radial strips on white ground, small semi-double, can throw solid red or solid white flowers. Leaves fishtailed. Upright, vigorous growth. Selected by Tetsuro Ito around 1990 from seedlings produced by Kenichi Suzuki. Named and released by Toturo Nakamura. From Kanagawa Pref., Japan. Estimated to be a seedling of ‘Kari-goromo’.
