Chunjiang Hongrui

Chunjiang Hongrui (C. lutchuensis × C. japonica). CCRN2022011. This cultivar was registered by Li Jiyuan, Fan Zhengqi, Yin Hengfu, Li Xinlei, Liu Weixin, Ge Wanchuan, Shen Jian and Yu Wenxian from the Subtropical Forestry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry. It is a hybrid of C. lutchuensis × C. japonica. The leaves are oblong to lanceolate, green and dull. The length of the leaves is 3.5cm-4.5cm, and the width of the leaves is 1.5cm- 2.0cm, leaf edge sparsely serrated, leaf apex slightly turned back, acuminate, leaf cross-section infolded, midrib and both sides densely covered with gray-brown hairs; bud sepals hairy, dark red, about 0.5cm long, short round Shaped, two buds grow side by side; white with light pink tip, single form, petals nearly round or obcordate, corolla diameter 4.0cm-5.5cm, trumpet-shaped, stamens arranged in tube type, anthers orange-red , white filaments, stamens are higher than pistils, stigmas are 3-lobed, flowering period is February to March.

春江虹蕊Camellia ‘Chunjiang Hongrui’，编号CCRN2022011. 本品种由中国林业科学研究院亚热带林业研究所的李纪元、范正琪、殷恒福、李辛雷、刘伟鑫、葛万川、沈剑和俞文仙登录。系琉球连蕊茶（C. lutchuensis）× 红山茶（C. japonica）的杂交品种，叶长椭圆形至披针形，绿色，无光泽，叶长3.5cm～4.5cm，叶宽1.5cm～2.0cm，叶缘稀细齿锯，叶先端略后翻，渐尖，叶横截面内折，中脉及两侧密被灰褐色茸毛；花蕾萼片被毛，深红色，长0.5cm左右，短圆形，两芽并生；花瓣先端浅淡粉色晕，底白色，单瓣型，花瓣近圆形或倒心形，花冠直径4.0cm～5.5cm，呈喇叭型，雄蕊排列筒型，花药橙红色，花丝白色，雄蕊高于雌蕊，柱头3裂，花期2月～3月。
