ACRS., 1963, Camellia News, No.12, p.26, Reg. No.62: Originated by Mrs J.R. Anderson, Toorak, Victoria, Australia. A chance seedling of unknown parents. Bushy, spreading, vigorous habit of growth. First bloomed 1958. The flower is single with 8-9 crimped and waved petals, slightly cupped. Colour a pale pink ground, minutely speckled and unevenly striped Carmine rose, 10-11 cm across. Leaves, dark, glossy green, elliptic, shallowly serrate, twisted, 10 cm long by 6 cm wide.
