Cup of Crème      (C. japonica)   Registered in 2020. ACS Registration #3205. This 14 year-old C. japonica chance seedling of 'Beatrix Hoyt' first bloomed in 2012. It was originated, registered and propagated by Pat B. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, USA. Bloom The small sized 7.6cm x 5.1cm semidouble form flower is creamy white with gold anthers and cream filaments. This cultivar is a profuse bloomer, falls in one piece, is long lasting, has heavy petal texture and has consistent form. Plant The plant habit is upright and open. The growth rate is vigorous. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition. Leaf The dark green leaves average 5.1cm x 2.9cm with low serration. Bloom season Early to late.
