Daddy's Girl. (C. japonica). ACS Registration #3148. Registered in 2019. This 11-year-old C. japonica chance seedling first bloomed in 2012. It was originated by William Nichols of Dothan, Alabama and registered and propagated by Max T. McKinney of Dothan, Alabama. Bloom: The medium to large sized 10.2 cm x 7.6-8.9 cm semi-double form flower is cardinal red. This profuse bloomer falls in one piece. Plant: The plant habit is upright. The growth rate is average. The plant is suitable for landscaping and exhibition uses. Leaf: The dark green leaves have low serration and average 8.9-10.2 cm x 5.1-6.4cm. Bloom season: Midseason.
